 | Mark Heffernan President/VIP Host I First moved from Santa Cruz to San Diego in '96 for college, and haven't looked back since. Went to USD for electrical engineering and SDSU for my MSBA. Heff Productions got started when I threw my first college party as a SigEp at USD and a certain Tim Ortiz noticed my organizational skills and ability to execute. Over the years I've just kept networking, developing and HAVING FUN! After my MSBA I started work at Northrop Grumman on the Global Hawk program where I still am today. Do what you're supposed to do when you're supposed to do it, so get 'er done and have some fun! I've just started teaching engineering courses at USD, fall 2007! | | | Kai Douglas

I’m a San Diego native currently in college studying business and marketing. Before deciding on my current major, I worked in education, which has brought me to my present job at a local elementary school. I work and play hard, so it was natural for my longtime friend Ethan to introduce me to the party that is Heff Productions. I love San Diego nightlife from the beach to downtown, so you’ll often find me out with these guys or spreading the word about upcoming events. When I’m not working, I try to spend as much time with my friends as I can- whether it’s dives or clubs, we always have fun! I love to meet new people and discover new opportunities, so don’t be afraid to approach me on the street or in the club! | | | Ethan Hire

I am a born and raised San Diegan. After graduating from Helix High School in 2003 life has been nothing short of a whirlwind. But, it has all been worth it, because when I can finally look back at my college experience I know it will be second to none. I met this eclectic group when I was a doorman at Fumari when I was only 19 years old. Saturday night was a weekly party when they would all waltz in (hammered) after their events, and I was the guy they asked to make sure their nights ended well. Over the years we all grew closer, and, when I came back to San Diego, after spending 2 years in northern California for college, it was only natural that I came on board with HP and made sure the party kept right on rollin'. When you see me out-and-about make sure to come by and introduce yourself, it could be the beginning of another beautiful friendship. | | | Mika Mower

I love having a good time, so joining the Heff Productions team came naturally! I have been a Sandiegan since I was five. In the mornings I do microbiology for a bio tech company here in San Diego, and in the afternoons I teach .I have two personal training and aerobic/group exercise certificates from 2 of the leading certification programs in the country, the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) and the American Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Some of my favorite classes to teach are cardio hip hop, spin/indoor cycling, step, yoga, pilates, ZUMBA, deep water aerobics and kickboxing. I also teach hip hop, jazz, tap and modern dance at Mind Body and Soul Dance studio in Little Italy. Eventually I plan on opening up my own dance and fitness studio. When I’m not out partying with these guys or teaching dance and aerobics classes , I’m playing my drum set or riding my skateboard. If you see me on the dance floor (and you will) come and say hi! | | | Joey Gatton Promoter/Musician I'm all about living life to the fullest and being involved in great events with great people. I am happy to be involved with such a talented and professional group as Heff Productions. I am not afraid of the dance floor. I grew up in San Diego, spent four years in the Army and I'm back now, staying active and going to school. Along with Heff Productions, I am also very involved with Red & White Music. R.A.W. Music is something that I believe in very much and I think that unless you strive to leave things better than you found them and add to the positive energy in this world, then what is the point? I love meeting new people so if you see me introduce yourself! …and yes, I’m on myspace :) | | | Tom Nelson Promotions/Generally Good Looking Psychology graduate from University of San Diego, with a minor in Biology. Do not ask me to psycho-analyze you. I was born and raised in beautiful Southern California, originally from Ventura, CA. I came to San Diego for School and couldn't bare the thought of leaving, it is the Finest city!!! I live and love PB, but much of my heart resides downtown because of the vibrant activity. My career is in outside sales and for right now could not ask for anything more. It has been such a gift for me to work with HP, these are such great people. Finally, I love meeting people and thrive on making people smile, so come say hello! | | | Kat Oschsner Promoter/Accounting/Event Management A San Diego girl, I've come home to my roots. I attended UCSB for undergrad where I was a Tri Delta and received my BFA in Theatre. Afterwards, I attended ,the MFA Acting program at CalArts. Recently, I've had the opportunity to performin some great places, including Hollywood, NYC, Disney Concert Hall/REDCAT,France and my One Person Show 'True or False' in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe. Through these experiences, I realized how much I love to meet new people and live life to the fullest! I'm a founding member of Filament Theater Co., and after our last production I came home to SD to take a break from the LA scene. When Heff Productions asked me to be on their team I couldn't stop jumping for joy! (Lay off me, I was a cheerleader.) The opportunity to apply my theatrical production skills in to promoting is proving invaluable and exciting. Plus, hey - I get to hang out with these guys! You'll probably find me on the dance floor - Come say hi! | |
